Our Story
Chartered on May 21, 1964, the Rotary Club of Cape Coral began with 25 dedicated members at the Cape Coral Yacht & Racquet Club. Over the years, the club has initiated numerous projects, including the construction of the Memorial Arch at the Cape Coral Bridge and the establishment of the Welcome Sign at the city’s entrance. The Cape Coral Art Festival and the Cardboard Boat Regatta are among the club's most cherished events, showcasing community spirit and creativity. Collaborating with local clubs, Rotary Park and the Rotary Community Garden were built to enhance community engagement. Recent initiatives like the Safe Zone project and the Books and Bibs for Babies program continue to make a significant impact on local families and youth.
