Our Story

Founded in September 1982, the Cape Coral Mayor’s Scholarship Fund was established to provide financial support for deserving students in Cape Coral. The first scholarships were awarded in 1983, and since then, the organization has grown significantly, incorporating in 1995 and obtaining 501(c)(3) status. With the generous support of local businesses and individuals, the fund has become a vital resource for students pursuing higher education.
