Our Story

Founded in 2001, Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife is a dedicated volunteer organization focused on preserving and enhancing the habitats of protected wildlife species. Established in response to significant habitat destruction due to development, CCFW works tirelessly to protect species like the Burrowing Owl and Gopher Tortoise. With a passionate community of approximately 500 members, the organization relies entirely on volunteer efforts and donations to fund its vital activities.
