Our Story

Capacitar was founded in the 1980s amidst the turmoil of Central America, initiated by Sr. Mary Hartman and Pat Cane. Recognizing the profound need for wellness practices to address trauma and violence, Capacitar emerged to empower individuals to heal themselves and their communities.
