Our Story

The Canton Land Conservation Trust is dedicated to preserving the natural beauty and resources of Canton, Connecticut. Founded in 1972 with a grant from the Ford Foundation, CLCT has successfully acquired nearly 2000 acres of undeveloped land and conservation easements. This commitment to responsible stewardship ensures that these vital areas remain protected for future generations.
