The Canons Regular of St. John Cantius, founded in 1998 by Fr. C. Frank Phillips, C.R., is dedicated to restoring the sacred in the Church and the world. This religious community lives under the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience, following the rule of St. Augustine. Through solemn liturgies, devotions, sacred art, and music, they help Catholics rediscover a profound sense of the sacred.
With 14 dedicated priests, the Canons Regular offer both forms of the Mass and hear over 700 confessions each week. They staff three parishes across two dioceses in Illinois, significantly enriching the spiritual life of their communities.
