Canines for Disabled Kids
EIN: 04-3412812 · Worcester, MA
Our Story
Canines for Disabled Kids began in 1998 as a response to the lack of service dog programs for children. Recognizing the unique needs of children with disabilities, CDK set out to train service dogs specifically for autistic children, those with hearing impairments, and other physical disabilities. Over the years, CDK has successfully sponsored over 130 service dogs, ensuring that families have access to the best training programs available.
Impact
By connecting children with service dogs, Canines for Disabled Kids helps them overcome limitations caused by disabilities, providing scholarships to cover training costs and significantly reducing wait times for families.
Why Donate?
