The Cancer Foundation for New Mexico was established in 2003 by a dedicated group of oncologists who recognized the urgent needs of cancer patients in northern New Mexico. Many patients were unable to afford the travel costs to receive treatment in Santa Fe, leading to devastating consequences. This organization was founded to address these overlooked yet vital needs, ensuring that no patient has to forgo treatment due to financial constraints.
