Our Story

Cancer Alliance of Help & Hope was founded in response to the devastating impact of cancer diagnoses on residents of Palm Beach County. Spouses Charles and Greta Fischer recognized the dire circumstances faced by cancer patients who were forced to choose between essential living expenses and life-saving treatments. In 2003, they established this grassroots nonprofit to provide emergency financial assistance to those in need.

Making a Difference

Today, Cancer Alliance of Help & Hope serves over 1,200 clients and their families each year. The organization disburses vital financial assistance to cancer patients, helping them navigate the overwhelming challenges of treatment without the added burden of financial stress. Programs include care baskets, food and fuel gift cards, wigs and caps, children's school supplies, and even care for beloved pets.
