Throwing Bones was founded by Kenny Capps, a blood cancer patient who ran over 1,175 miles from Jockey’s Ridge State Park to Clingman’s Dome. This journey aimed to raise awareness and support for individuals living with blood cancer, inspiring them to maintain active lifestyles during treatment and beyond.
