Our Story

Since its founding in 2015, the Canady Foundation for the Arts has positively impacted over 10,000 youth and families through innovative programming and community partnerships. Serving youth of color from infancy to high school, CFA has established a strong presence in both national and international communities. Collaborating with schools and organizations across the country, CFA has been recognized by American Theatre Magazine as a Thrive! Grant recipient and by DCTV for its significant contributions to the DC community.

With a focus on job readiness, career preparation, and cultural literacy, CFA is a transformative force in the DMV arts community.
