Our Story

Founded in 1954 by Rabbi Joshua Stampfer and Rabbi Joseph Wagner, Camp Solomon Schechter emerged from the need for a Conservative Jewish summer camp in the Pacific Northwest. What began as a small gathering has blossomed into a vibrant community, welcoming over 600 campers and 100 staff each year.
