Our Story

Since 1942, Camp Puh’tok has been a sanctuary for young people and their families, offering fresh air, engaging programs, and unforgettable fun. Founded by Brigadier Douglas G. Eldredge, the camp has transformed from a boys-only facility to a vibrant co-ed environment, focusing on leadership, teamwork, and a deep appreciation for nature. Nestled on over 60 acres of lush woodlands, Camp Puh’tok has a rich history of mentoring and community involvement, including a strong partnership with the Y in Central Maryland.
