Founded in 1987 by Frank and Nadge Herceg and Lee Smelko, Camp Imagine began as 'Handi-Camp' to provide a unique experience for children with special needs. Starting with just eleven students, the camp has grown to serve over ninety children from twelve school districts, focusing on educational, social, and practical skills.
Camp Imagine has successfully supported over 90 students, offering individualized academic instruction and recreational activities that help maintain skills and reduce regression during the summer months.
