Our Story

Founded in 1910 by Dr. Luther Halsey Gulick and Charlotte Vetter Gulick, Camp Fire began as a movement to provide girls with the same outdoor learning experiences as boys. Originally established as a counterpart to the Boy Scouts, it has grown into a nonsectarian, multicultural organization that now includes boys, focusing on youth development and leadership.

Impact

Camp Fire empowers young people to find their spark, lift their voice, and discover their true selves, fostering personal growth and community engagement.
