Our Story

Founded in 1994 by John Annoni, Camp Compass began as an after-school conservation program and has evolved into a federally recognized 501c3 organization. This initiative aims to connect a new generation of youth with America’s outdoor heritage through engaging activities like hunting, fishing, and archery, all supported by dedicated volunteer mentors.

Impact

Over 10,000 students have benefited from our unique 5-level system, which provides real-world opportunities and helps keep youth engaged in positive activities.
