Our Story

Founded in 1944 by a dedicated group of volunteers, the Cambridge Art Association (CAA) emerged in response to the challenges of World War II. The organization began with a successful art auction to support the war effort, leading to the establishment of a permanent art association. Over the years, CAA has grown to include over 650 artists, becoming a leading community art agency that offers extensive programs and exhibitions.

Impact

CAA has established itself as a significant community art center, hosting exhibitions and programs that engage thousands of art lovers and artists. The organization has welcomed prominent jurors from major art institutions, providing a platform for local artists to showcase their work and enhancing the cultural landscape of Cambridge and beyond.
