California Pit Bull Rescue (CPR) is dedicated to rescuing at-risk 'pit bull' type dogs and fostering social change to end the abuse and miseducation surrounding this breed. Established in August 2012, CPR operates as a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer nonprofit organization based in Richmond, California. Every dollar raised directly supports our mission, including awareness initiatives and providing essential care for the dogs in our program.
CPR focuses on placing dogs in loving foster homes where they can learn to trust and thrive until they find their forever families.
