About California Indian Nations College

California Indian Nations College (CINC) was established through the collaborative efforts of a Strategic Planning Committee representing over 35 members from Southern California Indian Country. Chartered by the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians in September 2017, CINC has quickly gained momentum with the generous support of local tribes and educational institutions. The college aims to become the first stand-alone, fully-accredited tribal college in California in decades, providing vital educational opportunities for tribal communities.

Impact of CINC

CINC is on track to be the first accredited, two-year tribal college in California, enhancing the educational and cultural foundation of tribal communities, the county, and the state.
