Founded in 1996, the California Dragon Boat Association is a dedicated non-profit organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area. With a focus on promoting the sport of dragon boating, CDBA runs the largest youth dragon boat program in the nation and organizes several competitive races each year, including the renowned Northern California International Dragon Boat Festival.
After a two-and-a-half-year hiatus due to COVID-19, CDBA proudly returned dragon boat racing to the Bay Area in 2022. This achievement was made possible through the unwavering support of members, teams, volunteers, and sponsors.
