Our Story

The California Autism Foundation has a rich history that began in 1982 when six friends united to create a better life for a child with autism. In 1983, they opened the first ABC Residential Home, pioneering community living for individuals with disabilities. Over the years, CAF has expanded its services to include the ABC School, ABC Adult Day Program, and ABC Supported Employment Program, all designed to support individuals with autism and developmental disabilities in achieving independence and fulfillment.

Impact

CAF has transformed countless lives by providing opportunities for lifetime support, training, and assistance, enabling individuals to reach their highest potential for independence and productivity.
