The California Alliance for Community Composting is dedicated to strengthening and developing community composting projects across California. By supporting local composters, CACC fosters sustainable practices that benefit the environment and the communities they serve.
Since October 2020, CACC has improved, expanded, or created up to 125 community composting projects, generating 65 part-time jobs. These initiatives provide job training, community outreach, and access to healthy compost and green spaces, particularly for underserved communities.
