Our Story
Cali Kids Medical Foundation began as a heartfelt initiative to support families navigating the emotional and financial challenges of having a child in the hospital. Inspired by personal experiences, the foundation aims to provide comfort and assistance to those who feel isolated during their child's medical journey. The founder's journey started with volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House, where the profound connection with families facing similar struggles ignited a passion to do more.
Every moment spent serving meals revealed the deep emotional turmoil that bedside parents endure. The feelings of helplessness, fear, and uncertainty are universal among families with hospitalized children. Yet, amidst the chaos, there is also pride, love, and the pursuit of joy in small moments. Cali Kids Medical Foundation recognizes these complexities and strives to bridge the gap for families, ensuring they know they are not alone.
Through workshops, support groups, care packages, and special events, the foundation provides essential resources to help families cope with the challenges they face. The mission is clear: to ease the burdens of these brave families and to be a ray of sunshine during their darkest days.
