Our Story

The Calculus Project began in 2009 at Brookline High, Massachusetts, addressing the underachievement in mathematics among African American, Latino, and low-income students. Through innovative educational strategies, the project aims to enhance representation and success in advanced mathematics.

Impact

Since its inception, The Calculus Project has empowered numerous students to excel in advanced math courses, significantly boosting their chances of graduating from college and pursuing STEM careers. A high percentage of participants earn A's or B's in math and enroll in AP-level courses.
