Our Story

The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation is dedicated to providing opportunities for at-risk youth through character-building programs, education, and mentorship. By creating safe spaces for play and learning, particularly through sports and STEM education, the foundation inspires children to reach their full potential.

Impact

In the 2023-24 period, the Ripken Foundation collaborated with 824 local youth-serving partners and law enforcement agencies across 331 cities and towns in 43 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands, impacting over 1.4 million at-risk youth. Programs like STEM education and Badges for Baseball offer mentorship and resources to help youth develop essential life skills.
