Our Story

Ground Force Humanitarian Aid, formerly known as Cajun Navy Ground Force, was born from the community's response to the devastating floods in South Louisiana in 2016. This grassroots movement united citizens to assist their neighbors and overwhelmed first responders during the crisis. Over time, the organization has evolved into a structured nonprofit dedicated to training volunteers and delivering essential disaster relief, particularly to vulnerable populations such as the elderly and disabled.

Impact

In the past four years, Ground Force Humanitarian Aid has actively deployed for 26 months across 18 disasters in seven states, providing an estimated $60 million in aid to affected communities. The organization has established a strong presence in disaster-stricken areas, offering vital services and support to thousands of individuals and families in need.
