Cache Humane Society

Our Story

Cache Humane Society has been a beacon of hope for animals in Cache Valley for over 40 years. Founded in 1976 by passionate animal lovers, the organization began by fostering animals in their homes. In 2008, a new shelter was established with the support of the community, and in 2010, a Community Spay/Neuter Clinic was added to provide affordable services for family pets. Today, the organization operates from a 5,000 square foot facility, complete with a clinic, educational programs, and an outdoor play park for shelter animals.

Impact

This year alone, Cache Humane Society's Community Spay/Neuter and Vaccination Clinic has performed over 1,700 spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinated more than 4,000 animals. The organization has successfully found loving homes for over 700 animals and placed an additional 300 in foster care, giving them a second chance at a happy life.
