The Cabot Theatre, a North Shore treasure, opened its doors on December 8, 1920, as a dream palace for vaudeville and silent movies. Designed by distinguished architects, it has undergone significant renovations to restore its original grandeur while modernizing its facilities. Since receiving its nonprofit designation in November 2014, The Cabot has focused on providing diverse programming that entertains, educates, and inspires the community.

In 2023, The Cabot welcomed 90,000 patrons, hosted 265 artists, and filled over 60 spots in its youth filmmaking program, demonstrating its role as a vibrant arts destination and community resource.
