Our Story
Founded in 1984 by dedicated families in Midland, Bynum School was established to provide quality education for children with special needs. Initially starting with just nine students, the school has grown to serve 116 children and adults, making it the only private institution in the Permian Basin offering year-round educational and vocational programs for individuals with disabilities. The school was renamed in honor of Kay Bynum, who played a pivotal role in its inception.
