Butterflies From Jodie was founded in memory of Jodie Torigian, a vibrant young woman whose life was tragically cut short at the age of 21 due to sudden cardiac arrest. The absence of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) at the time of her emergency highlighted a critical need for these life-saving devices in public spaces. This organization is committed to ensuring that every community has access to AEDs, giving individuals a second chance at life.
With the generous support of donors, Butterflies From Jodie has successfully placed over 70 AEDs and provided more than $600,000 in cash donations to various charities and public facilities, significantly enhancing community health and safety.
