Our Story
The Burmese American Community Institute (BACI) was founded in 2011 to provide essential human services and educational support to the Burmese and immigrant community in greater Indianapolis.
Impact
In 2022, BACI assisted over 4,000 individuals with citizenship training, naturalization applications, and employment support. Since its inception, BACI has served more than 25,000 individuals, significantly increasing the college-going rate among Burmese high school graduates from 43% to 93%.
