Our Story

Womenade Burlington is a dedicated non-profit organization that emerged from a heartfelt initiative by a group of friends in Washington DC in 2001. Inspired by the desire to support families facing adversity without incurring overhead costs, Womenade has grown into a nationwide movement. The Burlington chapter was established in 2011, motivated by a Bedford Womenade event, to unite women in the Burlington community. Together, they strive to provide essential support to local families in crisis while fostering connections and social networks.
