Burke Center for Youth

Our Story

Over fifty years ago, Rosemary Burke and Charlie Campise envisioned a brighter future for foster children in Texas. In 1973, they opened the Burke Center for Youth at Driftwood Ranch, a residential treatment center dedicated to nurturing young men and boys. The organization expanded in 1993 to include a Child Placement and Adoption Agency, now with five locations across the state. In 2016, the Burke Center Transition Homes became the third branch, furthering the mission to support at-risk youth.

Impact

The Burke Center for Youth provides therapeutic experiences and treatment services to young men and boys from all parts of Texas, positively impacting over 100 children annually through foster and adoption services.
