Building Resilient Communities: A Mission to Prepare
Founded in 2012 by Debra Williams, Building Resilient Communities (BRC) emerged from a passion for emergency preparedness. After witnessing the need for disaster readiness in the Inland Empire, Williams began educating faith-based organizations on how to prepare for natural and human-made disasters. Today, BRC stands as a vital resource, equipping over 600 organizations with essential training and resources.
Impacting Lives Through Preparedness
BRC plays a crucial role in ensuring communities are ready for crises. By providing disaster preparedness tools and timely updates, BRC supports hundreds of leaders across faith, community, and business sectors. In times of need—whether during fires, floods, or pandemics—BRC delivers vital information and supplies. The organization has distributed thousands of face masks, face shields, and hand sanitizers to protect communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
