Our Story
Born in the rural village of Mayen-Abun in Twic State, South Sudan, cousins Sebastian Maroundit and Mathon Noi faced unimaginable challenges from a young age. Separated from their families due to war, they fled to Ethiopia, only to encounter more conflict. After a perilous journey through the desert, they found refuge in a Kenyan camp, where they began their education at the age of 14. In 2001, they resettled in the United States, achieving academic success with degrees in business and accounting. Their return to their village in 2007 revealed a dire situation: no roads, no clean water, and children learning under trees. Determined to rebuild hope, they committed to improving educational opportunities and infrastructure in their community.
