Our Story
The Buffalo Scholastic Rowing Association was founded in 2009 to expand the sport of rowing in the greater Buffalo community. By providing safe, fun, and affordable competitive and recreational opportunities on the Buffalo River, BSRA serves as an umbrella organization for various associations, including BRRC Masters, Canisius High School, Buffalo Seminary, WeCanRow-Buffalo, and BSRA Youth.
Impact
BSRA enriches the Western New York and Old First Ward communities through rowing, promoting personal growth, teamwork, and inclusion. The organization has revitalized scholastic rowing in Buffalo and supports adaptive rowing programs for veterans and individuals with disabilities.
