About Buffalo Green Fund

The Buffalo Green Fund is a dedicated nonprofit organization that has been transforming Buffalo’s neighborhoods, parks, and public spaces since the 1970s. Established by passionate citizens in response to the Dutch Elm Disease, this initiative has successfully partnered with the City of Buffalo to create a greener, more beautiful environment.

Impact

To date, the Buffalo Green Fund has raised over $1 million, facilitating the planting of nearly 50,000 trees and hundreds of thousands of flowers across the city.
