Our Story

The Buffalo Community Orchestra was founded on July 9, 1995, when a group of passionate musicians and community members gathered to create a vibrant musical presence in Buffalo, Minnesota. Under the direction of Mary Roberts Wilson, the orchestra held its inaugural concert on November 26, 1995, featuring 39 local musicians. Since then, BCO has expanded its membership, repertoire, and audience engagement, fostering a love for orchestral music in the community.
