Our Story

In 1954, a dedicated group of eight men recognized the urgent need for a first aid squad and rescue unit in the rapidly growing town of Budd Lake, Morris County. They began holding meetings and taking first aid lessons, ultimately forming the Budd Lake First Aid and Rescue Squad. Through fundraising campaigns and generous community donations, they successfully outfitted their ambulance and established their squad officially. Over the years, the squad has expanded its services and equipment to meet the evolving needs of the community.
