The Buckeye Clinic was established to provide essential maternal and child healthcare in South Sudan, a country grappling with one of the highest infant mortality rates globally. After devastating flooding in July 2020, the clinic relocated to the Mongalla IDP Camp, ensuring continued support for over 38,000 displaced individuals.

Impact

Since opening in September 2021, the clinic operates 24/7 and has treated over 7,000 patients, performing 28 successful deliveries and addressing critical health issues like malaria and maternal care in a region with limited healthcare access.
