Our Story
BTG Community Outreach began in 2009 as a grassroots initiative led by Alison Wallace, who distributed food to the homeless from her van. Officially established as a nonprofit in 2011, BTG has expanded its services to support individuals and families in need, focusing on providing food, resources, and pathways to stability. Under the leadership of Executive Director Jamar Joiner since October 2024, BTG continues to serve the community with compassion and practical solutions.
Our Impact
In 2023, BTG supported 38,489 households with food and essential services, distributing 2.42 million pounds of food and serving 14,453 lunches and hot meals. The organization is dedicated to not just meeting basic needs but also providing pathways to long-term stability and wellness for its clients.
