Our Story

Browning the Green Space (BGS) was established to combat the disproportionate environmental challenges faced by communities of color. Recognizing that these communities often bear the brunt of pollution and environmental degradation, BGS aims to create a more equitable future through clean energy initiatives. By fostering a coalition of leaders and organizations in New England, BGS is dedicated to promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the clean energy sector.

Impact

With a focus on creating opportunities, BGS intends to generate 100 clean energy jobs for underrepresented groups and train 100 employers on DEI practices.
