Our Story
The Broward Sheriff’s Advisory Council, established in 1985 by dedicated community leaders, is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization committed to supporting law enforcement, firefighters, and first responders in Broward County. Over the years, the mission has evolved to provide essential financial assistance to the families of first responders who are killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty. Collaborating closely with the Broward County Sheriff and Chiefs, the Advisory Council invests in state-of-the-art technology, specialized training, and wellness programs, ensuring that those who serve the community are well-equipped and supported.
