Our Story

In 2007, two dedicated fathers and educators envisioned a new middle school in Park Slope, Brooklyn, to provide quality educational options. This vision led to the establishment of Brooklyn Prospect Charter School, which opened its doors on September 8, 2009, with just 100 sixth graders. Today, BPCS has expanded to five campuses across Brooklyn, serving over 1,500 students from kindergarten through twelfth grade, supported by a passionate team of over 300 employees.

Impact

Brooklyn Prospect Charter School boasts an impressive record: 100% of students who start in the sixth grade enroll in a four-year college or university, scoring an average of 100 points higher on the SAT compared to their peers.
