Promoting Lacrosse in Urban Areas

Our Story

Founded in July 2012 by Joe Nocella, Deborah Nocella, and Khalid West, Brooklyn Lacrosse aims to make lacrosse accessible to all children in Brooklyn, regardless of their background. Starting with free clinics, the organization has expanded to include multiple teams and programs for boys and girls from Pre-K through 12th grade, emphasizing fundamentals, teamwork, and respect.

Impact

Brooklyn Lacrosse has provided over $15,000 annually in scholarships and equipment, ensuring that no child is turned away due to financial constraints. This commitment promotes inclusivity in the sport of lacrosse.
