Our Story

Brooke’s Place was founded to support grieving children and their families, addressing the unique challenges they face after the loss of a loved one. Established in 1999 following the tragic crash of American Eagle Flight #4184, which claimed many lives, including that of Thomas H. Wright, the organization has grown to serve over 30,000 children and families. Through grief support groups, therapy services, and community education, Brooke’s Place offers essential resources to help families navigate their grief journey.
