Founded in 2010, Broken Chains For Humanity is dedicated to uplifting the impoverished Mayan communities in Jalapa, Guatemala. Volunteers have been conducting mission trips since 2006, focusing on providing essential medical care, food distribution, and educational support.
Last year, Broken Chains For Humanity served 800 patients through free medical clinics and distributed hundreds of food bags to families in need, especially those living in the garbage dump. The organization is currently raising funds for a 10-year-old boy in urgent need of heart surgery.
