Our Story

In 2016, a group of Broadway actors and activists united to address a pressing question: "How can the arts play a more meaningful role in creating a just world?" Frustrated by the inadequate response to the pandemic of racism, these visionary 'artivists' founded the Broadway Advocacy Coalition (BAC). This innovative nonprofit leverages workshops, coalition building, leadership development, and Impact Projects to advocate for humane policies and systemic change.

Impact

Since its inception, BAC has evolved into a Tony Award-winning organization that connects artists with legal experts and community leaders. The coalition focuses on critical issues such as criminal justice reform and education equity, making a lasting impact on policies that affect marginalized communities.

Why Donate?
