Our Story
In August 2011, James Broach was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer, a grade IV astrocytoma, just ten months after a previous diagnosis of a grade II astrocytoma. Despite enduring countless surgeries, radiation, and experimental trials, James remained committed to making a difference in the fight against brain cancer. This dedication led to the establishment of the Broach Foundation for Brain Cancer Research, founded by James and his wife Jamie, to provide essential funding for research aimed at advancing the prevention, treatment, and cure for brain cancer. Although James lost his battle on August 26, 2013, his legacy continues through the Foundation's impactful work and the cutting-edge research it funds each year.
