About Brighton Fire Department
Founded in 1925, Brighton Fire Department serves the Brighton Fire District, covering two-thirds of the Town of Brighton and parts of Pittsford. With a dedicated team of 90 volunteers and 30 career firefighters, BFD responds to approximately 2400 emergency calls each year.
